What is a Motivation Wall?

Inspirella here! I am terribly sorry that I have no updated y'all in what seems like forever. I just got back from a week long trip to Boston and it was so much fun! We saw historic sites, climbed all the way to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument, saw the gardens, went on a swan boat ride, went to a Red Sox game, and so much more! My feet are killing me because we literally walk everywhere we went!

So let's get to what you are really here to read! A motivation wall. Okay, so if your like me you are a visual learner. You learn by seeing things happen, you can't just hear it and be okay. I'm working on making a motivation wall for my room while I am home so I stay motivated to achieve my goals, and on this wall I wall have the WHY I am doing what I am doing (to get toned and muscle.) I will have the HOW (workouts & weights.) I will have pictures of my inspirations (I have to print those out!) And I will also have some of my favorite quotes on my motivation wall!
As you can tell a motivation wall is exactly that, a wall to help motivate you to stay on course! I found these wonderful examples on Pinterest (until I make mine and show y'all it!), and they are quite fabulous!

So I like this moto wall because it is plain to see why they
are doing what they are doing. They see how many lbs.
they have lost and how many more they have to go! Plus
the clothes pins are decorated very cute!
This moto wall has a completely different vibe. But I love it!
It is all quotes, but scattered across the brightly colored
paper makes you look at it and go, "OH YEAH! That is why
I am doing what I am doing!"

Now this one is probably my favorite one! They tacked up they swimsuit to
say, I need to make sure I look how I want in this! The put up the lbs to lose,
but in a different way, take off a sticky when you lose that weight! Pictures of
inspiration, some workouts, and some "quotes!" This moto wall is killin' it!

So, make a moto wall, to help you stay motivated, to keep working out, eating correctly, and to just see your own progress! I can not wait to make mine and show it to y'all! In the mean time, I will be starting (again) my workouts and run/walks on Tuesday! So be prepared for an awesome workout and motivation!

Progress Report (Month Two)

Inspirella here! Hey y'all, so sorry I haven't updated in about a week and a half!

But good news, I am now done with my Freshman year of college and summer break has begun! (Which means, I have moved back to Ohio!)

Let me tell y'all something, I have not hit up the gym or worked out in the last week and a half, I know, shame shame. I'm not going to make excuses by saying I was busy with finals, I didn't have time, or I was too tired. While all of those statements are true, I could have worked out. The rest was good for my body though, because my body wasn't changing. My body wasn't working how it should have.Taking the week and half off gave my muscles and body time to set in what I was doing to it, with raising my weight amount, my body needed the rest.

So May marked month 2 of keeping up with working out, getting back to where I want to be. And I am happy with my results so far, the progress is slow, but it is steady. Below I have inserted pictures from Before (beginning of Month 1.) Middle ( end of month 1.) and Now (end of month 2.)

<------- Beginning of Month One

End of Month One
                 ----------->

                               End of Month Two --------------------->

Like I said the progress is slow, but it is progress. I will get back to working out tomorrow, so be prepared for more workout posts, more motivation, and more helpful tips to keep you going!

Body weight, Full body work out!

Inspirella here!

So, I found this pin on Pinterest quite awhile ago, but I didn't pin it, and I thought I had, whoops! But, I took a picture of it on my phone, so this is the picture y'all get to see! So ignore all of the funky little computer lines on the picture! Sorry for that!

--------------------------------------------------------------------->>>

Let me tell you something, I was sweating like a pig during this workout y'all, and I even modified it! The great part of it is it's a great full body workout, you don't need any equipment, and you can take your time doing it!

So let me tell you what I did!

I did the warm up as instructed. It really gets your heart pumping!
I did all 3 circuits, each with a different modification.

(I only did each circuit twice, not three times. After each circuit, I took a one minute break, after each exercise, I took a 30 second break.)

Circuit One:
20 Squats
15 Squat Jumps
5 Burpees (That was the modification.)
Circuit Two:
20 Mountain Climbers
15 Push Ups (I did these modified on my knees, I'm not the best with push ups, I am building up to get better! That was the modification.)
10 Bridges
Circuit Three:
20 Alternating Lunges
15 Plie Squats
10 Calf Raises
Abs:
I did each of these the same, no modifications. Taking a 30 second break between each exercise.

DO NOT FORGET TO STRETCH AT THE END.
(You can modify this workout too, modify it to fit your own level!)

Good job with this workout y'all! You are doing fabulous. Keep up the good work, and don't forget, if you have a certain area of your body you would like to work on, let me know, I will help you in the best way possible that I can!

Stay Strong, Stay Motivated, and Stay Strong!

Rest Day(s)

Inspirella here! Today isn't about a workout in fact, it's about quite the opposite. Resting.
Your body needs to rest after exercising all week, usually my rest days are Sunday for many reasons,

  1.  The gym is closed
  2.  It's the easiest day to just be a bum
  3. Sunday is the day I usually spend with friends and family
Rest days are important to have in any routine, whether you workout 6 days a week like me, or you only workout 3, rest days are needed. They are so important because your body needs time to relax. You can overwork the muscles you've been training. The muscles need time to "have a spa day," to get used to what you are doing so you can change it up when it becomes to boring.
On rest days it it important to still eat healthy and remain in all the other healthy habits you have formed. Just because it is a rest day, doesn't mean you can go and eat 5 pounds of cupcakes. Rest days and cheat days are completely different.
Rest Day-(Happens every week, 1,2, or 3 days.) letting your body relax and form to what you are doing
Cheat Day- (Happens once every two or three weeks)  Eating a small french fry from the drive through or eating that brownie you've been craving.
See the difference?
So pick a day(s) that work well for you! If you workout 6 days a week, Sunday might be the easiest. If you workout 3 days a week, then Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday might work best. Just find the days that work best for you.
I know, my little picture I have there is so true with me, I usually work on homework, but since summer is coming, I have to think about what I am going to do, so I've figured it out, grab an awesome book, go outside and sit outside in the sun and get my pre-tan on for Florida! Just find things to keep you occupied on rest days, maybe save those days for grocery shopping, or date nights, or movie days!

Dorm Room Workout

Inspirella here! Today I am not feeling totally 100 percent, so I am just going to do a quick workout in my dorm room! (Yes, that means a workout in any small place or quiet place, because both of my roommates are still asleep!)

Also, remember how I said I was going to do Ripped in 30 with Jillian Michaels DVD? Well, my older sister said she has Shred it in 30 also with Jillian Michaels DVD, so I will be trying that one first, then I will move to ripped in 30, because free is always fabulous! So remember, I will be starting that challenge mid June, keep a look out for those workouts, progress, and posts!

Today's workout will be simple and quick, because I'm not feeling up to par with a great workout. Just remember, the only bad workout you have is one yo do not do. Even a simple small one here and there is still progress to where you want to be, so don't feel bad if you take a "small break" with a lighter load workout. And don't forget to take AT LEAST one day of rest during the week. Your muscles need time to relax and get rest from all the hard work you've been putting into them!

Warm up:
Stretch
50 Jumping Jacks

Workout:
20 squats
15 crunches
10 Bridges (Example) ------------->>
10 Heel Touches
10 Scissor Kicks
30 Second Plank
10 Leg Raises

Workout complete! :) Don't forget to stretch out afterwards, we don't need any cramped up muscles!

Keep the MOTIVATION!

Inspirella here! So sorry I have MIA for a few days, I've been so busy with projects for school!

Which reminds me, don't lose your motivation of being more healthy and fit! I'm going to be honest with you, in the past week I've had about 4 rest days, which is a big no no for me, because my body feels it, since it is used to working out just about 6 days a week! I kind of lost my way a bit because of only having 2 1/2 weeks of school left, professors just dumped so much on the to do list. So ,sorry for that!

I know it is hard to not lose motivation, because:

  1. We get busy
  2. We don't see the results we want to
  3. It's taking forever
Trust me, I have most certainly been there multiple times. A way to not lose motivation? Just keep going! What are the reasons you want to be more healthy, more fit? Write them out, post them on your wall, and look at it every single day. Get a buddy to exercise with. Trust me, if somebody is working out beside you, you'll have more motivation to finish a workout and do it at full intensity! Don't forget, you are doing this for yourself. No one else. You want to be happier, stronger, healthier. That alone boosts up the motivation you have by like 1,000 percent.

If your losing motivation because working out is boring, the routines, are blah, just switch it up! Take a class, Pilates, Zumba, or Kickboxing. See what your gym offers, see if the community you live in has any exercise classes they do. Go for a hike, a swim, canoeing, rock-climbing, or play some baseball. A change of scenery is always a great change of pace! That will for sure boost up your motivation!

Do a work out plan DVD. Buy one of the ones you see at Target, Walmart, etc, those are usually 3 or more week plans. Doing those will help you stay on track because you are following somebody for a certain amount of weeks. Buy one that intrigues you, one that you read the description and go, "Oh, this sounds awesome!" Jillian Michaels also has great DVD's in the stores and online, and I've done one or two, her workouts are great and super fun! When I go home for the summer I want to try her Ripped in 30 DVD. I've seen great results, it looks like a challenge and so much fun!
------------------------------------------------------------>>   (Seriously, if you want to see for yourself, check it out online! When I go home for the summer, I will be doing this, and I encourage you to do it with me! Think, middle of June.)

Trust me, if you lose you way, you will find your way back, you just stumbled. No worries, get right back to where you were and keep pushing forward!

Stay Strong, stay motivated, and keep pushing!

Lets hear it for the Mothers of the world!

Inspirella here! ( I am going to share a special workout with you today, but first I have something for all the mommas out there. ) Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful ladies that have kiddos, grand kids, or are a fur momma. Your love is the most special in the world. Without your love, we wouldn't have come so far.

A mother's love is a special kind of love.
A love so strong, not even the devil can destroy it.
When a child is born, and momma sees that little soul for the first time, that's when the unconditional love begins.
Mother's are a special kind of person.
They are strong, selfless, confidant, and loving.
As they watch their baby grow into a toddler, tears form in their eyes.
The little one who not so long ago depended on mom to hold them, doesn't need to be held up for support any longer.
The little one waddling around is becoming independent right before mommas eye.
Soon enough the innocent eyed child is off to school, making friends, isn't home all the time.
Moms heart begins to cry.
Her little baby just isn't so little anymore.
Before they know it, their child is graduating high school. Their baby has come so far.
They have fought, cried, and laughed together.
The love of a mother is a love so strong and so caring that the little baby momma saw on day one, is still inside the grown child standing in front of her. She sees the innocent eyes of her baby looking at her and calling for help, saying, don't worry mom, I still need you, just as much as I needed you on day one.
(Poem By: Brittney Jarzenski)

Moms are the most influential people in the world, and they certainly deserve a day all to themselves to be reminded of how amazing they are. I love my momma and can't wait to see her again. <3
So call up your mom today if you aren't home, send her some love, and let her know she is appreciated.
Happy Mother's Day mommas.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Special workout as promised, right here. Since today is Mother's Day,
I figured I would do a workout inspired by my mother and childhood. Are you ready?

Warm Up:
stretch
Jumping Jacks [One Minute.]
Butt Kicks [30 seconds]

Workout:
This workout is going to be centered around childhood, so grab a partner for this one!
Take a 15-30 Second break in between exercises.

-Wheel Barrow (whole length of room)
(Remember when you would have a friend hold up your legs and you would walk
on your hands, yeah, that is such a good arm workout and builds your strength.)
-Sit ups (10 reps)
(Have your partner hold your feet for more support.)
-Leg lifts (20 reps)
(Have your partner stand behind you as you lie with your back on the ground,
grab your partners ankles and lift your legs, your partner will then push
your legs back to towards the floor. Make sure your feet do not hit the floor again.)
-Mountain Climbers (15 reps)
-Play Ball (10 reps)
(So, grab a ball that weighs 5 pounds, get into crunch position and do a crunch,
when you come up from the crunch, trow the ball to your partner. They will throw it back
and you will go back down to regular position.)

Rest and repeat.
Remember to stretch afterwards, so we don't pull a muscle.

Sweat it Out!

Inspirella here! As promised, this post is all about workouts. Lets get the ball rolling shall we?

So workouts don't have to be all sorts of crazy and insane, workouts should depend on you. Everything you do for fitness should depend on you and your body, nothing else.
This isn't a competition to be better than person next to you at the gym or park, it's a competition with yourself. To get better than you were before. Stronger, more balanced, happier. It should never be a competition with the person lifting 50 pounds and your only lifting 8 pounds. DON'T WORRY. You will build up muscle overtime and you will get there. Change does not happen over night, it is a slow and forever going process.

Alright, workout time, get ready to sweat!

Warm Up:
Stretch
(One Minute) Jumping Jacks
(One Minute) Butt Kicks.

(Now that we've got our hearts pumping, let's get our workout on!)

  • 20 squats

(Tip: Stay in the correct position for squats. Never let your knees come out past your toes. Butt back, chest out. Keep your back straight. Put your weight in your heels as you squat down. Squat lower for more of a challenge. Here is a picture for reference.)
 --------------------------->>

  • 5 push ups
  • 20 crunches
Rest for 30 seconds! You deserve it!

  • 20 leg raises
  • 15 heel touches
  • 60 second wall sit
Rest one minute and repeat!

{ CONGRATS! You finished the workout! I am proud of you!}

[ Tips to remember: ]

  1. Take your time. This is not a race. Pace yourself. These workouts  share do not need to be done in a certain amount of time.
  2. You can always do more or less. Not enough reps, add five. Too many reps, take off five.
  3. Stay hydrated while you exercise. Drink plenty of water!

These are all just suggestions, let me know if there is a certain area you want to work on, let me know and I will certainly help you!
Stay strong, stay motivated, and keep pushing!

Time is key.

Inspirella here! I've been asked the question, "When do I find the time to workout?" I can honestly tell you that there is no one answer to that question.
I personally workout around my schedule, and lately I've hit the gym at 5 or 5:30(p.m.) that way afterwards I can eat dinner! I also find that going to the gym at that time is the most convenient Monday-Thursday. (The days I have class.)
Really finding the time to workout lies within your own schedule. Find the time that works best for you, whether it be day or night. Also remember, you don't have to workout in a gym. You can workout anywhere, your home, the dorms, even outside. (If you workout outside please be careful and watch your surroundings.) Another factor to shift through when trying to find the perfect time to workout, do you mind working out in front of people or would you rather not have a crowd and just a few people there or even just yourself? I suggest scouting out the perfect time. If you workout in a gym go at different times for a week or two, see what feels most comfortable. If you workout in your home or dorm figure out if you don't mind working out in front of the people you share your home with or your roomies. If you enjoy working out outside, there's really no way to avoid a bunch of people, so find a place you are comfortable with. (Maybe under a shady tree, the track at a local school, etc.)

Remember: you should never feel awkward or uncomfortable around others when you are working out. If you do, find a new place, a new time, or just ignore the people staring at you. (After all, you are changing your life in healthy ways, so feel great about yourself!)

Find your perfect time and lets start this journey to a stronger, healthier, more powerful you!

(Next blog post includes a workout, so stay tuned!)

Food Junkie.

Inpirella here! Okay, so fitness. I am not claiming that I am a professional or anything, but I certainly know what works for my body and what works for me. As you can guess, today I want to talk about food.
Most believe you have to go on some crazy diet plan to lose weight or "eat healthy." Wrong. The diet plans work but after you get off of them, you don't know what to eat by yourself or where to buy food or what to buy for that matter.
What is considered eating healthy? Is it a diet, being a vegan, drinking green smoothies? I don't believe there is one certain answer. I consider myself to be quite healthy, and I eat "normally." I eat burgers, ice cream, salad, chocolate, etc. Seriously if I can make changes to my body and meet my goals eating all of that then I don't believe in needing  to diet or all that jazz.

I eat two full meals a day (because my schedule is so busy with classes and studying.) I eat snacks in between. The trick I use to eating the "normal" foods is eating smaller portions. Just because a restaurant or the cafeteria at your school gives you so much food on a plate, that doesn't mean you have to eat it all right then and there. Try to include something green on your plate. A colorful plate means healthy. [So if you have a plate of chicken, rice, and potatoes, think of adding some corn, spinach, or broccoli.]
Also, desert. The killer to everybody's meals. You don't have to cut sweets and junk food out of your life completely, I mean that would just be crazy! Instead treat yourself once every two weeks or so with a brownie, a chocolate bar, or your favorite slice of cake. Don't eat them every single day, there's no need for that.
Eat until you are full not stuffed. Yes there is a difference. You know that feeling you get after Thanksgiving when you sit down and you feel like the button on your pants might just pop off? Yeah, that's the feeling of stuffed not full. That is a feeling you should avoid, (besides on those special holidays!) Being full means your satisfied, your stomach is not growling anymore, you feel good, not grouchy anymore, and you should be hungry about 2 hours later. (Just in time for a snack!)

Snacks. Just because snacks are generally related to sweets doesn't mean you have to eat sweets. Feeling something salty? Try trail mix. Feeling something sweet? Eat some strawberries or fruit. Save the sweets to treat yourself with later, as a reward for the hard work you've been doing. (Trust me, it will taste much better then!)

(Quick tip: Never eat a full meal before you workout, enjoy an orange or a small salad, give your body energy, and eat a meal afterwards. Remember, drink plenty of water!)

Working out while in College.

Inspirella here! So sorry I haven't updated y'all in just about a month, but I assure you I have a great reason! Take a look at the picture.
Fitness was my reason, I wanted to focus on that, school work, and spare time for myself. I have goals for my fitness, and I am just at the beginning of my road! The picture is a before and after. April 3rd to April 30th. Just the end of month on to reaching my goals.
I'm taking a spin on my blog and changing to fitness, because I seem to get a lot of questions asking what I do and how I do it, especially while in college.

Month one: April. "I just want abs!" Everybody's  thoughts, but when you had a six pack before, (check out them abs!) (Sorry for the terrible quality picture!)  --------------------------->>>>
It seems to be harder to get them back. So I have goal to get them back and keep them this time!
I know it isn't always the easiest to get to the gym or even workout at home when your in college, since we always seem to be busy, but I promise you, it is possible! You just have to have the motivation to do so! It all deals with motivation, working out, and what you eat. (Today's post will be about working out.)

Workout Tips:
  • Start with a low number of reps if you are a beginner, listen to your body, if it feels like a muscle is going to tear, take a day off, don't strain your body past its pushing point, that is not healthy.
  • Push yourself, your brain is the one that says "I can't," not your body. Your body is capable of so much, and you will never know just how much unless you push yourself!
  • Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water.
Workouts:
I try to keep them easy, so you can do them wherever you are comfortable doing them, wether that be the gym, outside, in your dorm room, or home.
(Note: This exercise routine is just a suggestion, do what feels right for you, lower the reps or bump them up.)
  1. 15 Crunches
  2. Plank ( hold as long as you can!)
  3. 10 Squats
  4. 10 Lunges (Each Leg)
  5. Take a 2 Minute Break
  6. 15 Crunches
  7. 5 Burpees
  8. 20 Leg raises
  9. 10 Squats
  10. Take a One minute Break and Repeat!
  11. Stretch.
( If you want to use weights, stretch, and then do some arm exercises.
Examples: Curls, Pushups, Arm Circles. Start with 5 pounds, maybe even 3 if you aren't used to using weights. Remember to listen to your body! )

Remember, push yourself, see where your body can go! So, who's ready to hop on the fit train and have the ride of their life?

Self Perception

Inspirella here! Hey y'all! So today's post isn't about the fashion, it's about how you view yourself.
Self Perception.
One of the most important qualities to own, as long as it is a good self perception. Some of you may be asking what "good" self perception is, the answer? Well it varies from person to person. To me it is viewing yourself with no negatives, no self hatred, and certainly no downing anything you do..
If you just believe in yourself, believe you are gifted and wonderful, you will feel that way. Your brain and body will believe it.
Say you are working on a project and you keep saying, well this looks like poop; its because you aren't believing in your own abilities and everything you are capable of. Now I'm not saying I never do anything like that, because I do, especially when I am at the gym, I down myself saying things such as I can't hold that plank any longer or no more ab workouts I hurt to much. Negative thinking is not going to get me anywhere, and I am slowly learning to stop saying, "I can't" and replacing it with, "Oh yes I can!" Not only in the gym, but in every aspect of life.
Today, I encourage you to do the same, look at something you've been saying you can't to for a while, and say oh yes I can! Because the more you believe you can do something, the better your attitude in life, and the more you will be able to accomplish. Just think positive! No negatives. Yes not no!

Warm weather, colorful Spring, cute clothing.

Inspirella here! Hey guys, I want to show y'all how when the Spring rolls in, the neutrals, blacks, and dark colors vanish. Bringing in the bright, printed, colorful clothing. I LOVE IT.
Spring is my favorite season, not just because of the fashion, but because of the beautiful surroundings, everyones tempers improve, moods happier, and more laughter fills the air. Spring is my inspiration. I love anything colorful, bright, and cheerful. To me Spring just screams, look at me; I am beautiful, I think everyone should have that attitude. Every single one of you is absolutely beautiful! Inside and out. You are who you are, you were made that way for a reason, so find it and rock it!
My reason I am beautiful? Because, I make people happy when I am around them. I make them smile by being silly, or by saying something incredibly lame. I finally found why I am beautiful and I totally love it!

So, spring time outfits? I have two to share with you today, I know you are probably thinking "Two, in one post, SWEET!" First up, maxi skirt.

(Sorry for the "selfie," my photographer is sick! Get better soon Allyssa!) Maxis are so great for those awkward windy but hot days. Maxis are like my favorite. I put the outfit together by keeping blue in mind, Blue strips on the skirt, blue jean vest, blue ribbon around my fedora. From head to toe, blue. But not to much so I don't look like a blueberry. The stripes on the skirt add a playful touch to the look. I totally suggest doing a print in your outfits!

List of where I got everything
Fedora - Target
Vest - Old
Shirt - Old

Outfit number two, the crop top.

So this outfit was inspired by the AWESOME 80 weather we had! For one, I love shorts, and the bright colbalt blue color was pulling me in. The shirt I bought on a fly, and I love it. Yes, it is a crop top, but a hidden one. With the fringe hanging down, it doesn't show to much skin, which I love. Then I pulled my hair back with a simple bow. I am incredibly excited to get to wear my "warm" clothes again!

List of where I got everything
Shirt & Shoes - Goodwill
Shorts - Old
Bow - Claires

So fellow readers, what is your reason for being beautiful, I want to hear them all!

Spring Quarter is in session!

Inspirella here! I am so incredibly sorry I haven't posted in a bit, I have been so busy, I got back from Spring Break, first week of Spring Quarter at school, I am sick, and not to mention, I got ENGAGED over Spring Break, SAY WHAT?! So yeah, I have been a bit busy. I am so sorry!

Today, I want to encourage you all to just keep going. Keep going foreword. Because life sure does get busy and a bit hard to handle sometimes, but that's what makes it worthwhile in the end.
I encourage you all you take a deep breathe and relax, remember, life is a once in a life time thing, so don't take it for granted! Life has its many uphill climbs and many battles to get over, but life is a wonderful thing and when you get into a routine, thats when you stop experiencing life, so don't be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone and really experience life!
I am only sharing one outfit this week, sorry y'all. But this outfit is comfy and casual. It is actually an outfit I would totally wear again. An outfit that is universal. An outfit that I hope inspire you all to think comfy can be cute. An outfit that can be changed up in so many ways. So without further ado, here is that lovely, comfortable, casual, outfit.

Told ya, comfy and casual. For one, I love my converse, could wear them all the time. For two that is my go to jacket. I wear it with just about everything.
You could switch this look up taking the jacket off and just having the tank, switching the tank for a tee and add a scarf or necklace, or you could even switch out the pants for some shorts! This look seriously is so versatile. I love it. I hope y'all feel a bit more inspired to not be afraid to go comfy and casual.
<3 With love, Inspirella.

Tribal Print and Windy days!

Inspirella here! Hey y'all, so yesterday, it was like awkwardly chilly here in Atlanta, like I didn't need a jacket, but then again I did? So strange. So yeah, my outfit was to be comfy because yesterday was just a blah day in general. How do y;all feel on your blah days, what inspires you to look how you want to look? Well, anyways, here is my outfit from yesterday.

Told y'all is was awkward, I like got hot but cold, weird. I love my cardigan though! It is seriously my all time favorite Cardigan I have ever owned!! I love that it is so brightly colored and I can wear it with a lot of my clothing! I like colorful things, they are the best. I want to ask y'all a question, what is your most favorite outfit or article of clothing you own? I'll post a picture of mine sometime soon, but right now I have a speech to prepare for, have a great day everyone!

Errand Day

Inspirella here! So today was so incredibly busy for me, and it is only 3pm. Goodness. Okay, so today I had to run errands, and I still have some Color Theory homework to do. Yay. :) For today's outfit I wanted to keep it fun and lighthearted, because that is what the weather feels like outside! It is so great! A bit chilly, but wonderful none the less. (Better than the negatives my hometown in Ohio is getting!)

I am terribly sorry about the poor quality of this picture.. Phone cameras just are not that good. As you can see, I have my bike. My bike is my life line here in Atlanta. Of course I had to keep it adorable and what not, so thank you lovely older sister for not taking it! I stole it from you! :) (BTW: She also has a blog and it is fabulous! Check it out here: darlingprepster Her blog is fashion and everything in between, it really is great!)
So yeah, my outfit is cool and casual. I really was inspired by the weather this morning. Have I mentioned how much I love Spring? IT IS MY FAVORITE. So yeah, hope y'all enjoy your weekend!

Dreams Do Come True!

Inspirella here! Hope y'alls Friday is going fabulous! I know mine certainly is. I have applied to the Disney College Program (also known as the DCP,) and I could not be more excited to tell you that I got accepted! Working for Disney and learning from them is going to be fantastic! I can not wait to get down there in the Fall. August to be exact! I know, this has nothing to do with fashion, but this is also a blog to inspire you to do what you really want to do in life. Sooooo, ah!

  • I encourage everyone to follow their most crazy, insane, biggest dreams they can dream. I believe the biggest dreams that people have are what morphs them into who they are. Dreams are a special thing to hold onto. A special connection to the real you. One of my craziest dreams I have is to travel this majestic world we live in. And I plan on making that dream come true. I want to learn what other cultures are about, how they live, how they act. I am extremely excited to make that dream come true!
  • Another thing I think is important to have if you want your dreams to come true is people to support you. When people support you, it makes having your dreams come true that much more attainable.

Okay, since I am rambling, I just wanted y'all to know that I am super excited to be doing the Disney College Program this Fall (2014)!

[ What can you expect from my blog? Well still expect fashion, love, and inspiration!]

What are your wildest, craziest dreams fellow readers?

Chilly day, Critique day!

Inspirella here! So today is critique day for some art homework here at school. I figured I would show y'all what I usually wear for it. Just a simple outfit with some color. Color definitely makes an outfit that much better, adding color not only brightens up your day, but it also send positivity to the rest of the world!
Honestly, I really don't like wearing an outfit without color, I just feel so boring with out it! I feel like color in my outfits really says who I am as a person, I am a spunky, fun, bubbly person, so color just kind of enhances that! Anyways, heres my outfit of the day!

(Btw, photo cred goes to my lovely friend, Allyssa.)

-The blue skirt I have on is my absolute favorite skirt ever! It is so extremely comfortable, and can be worn in such diverse ways! It can be a business skirt, or a going out on the town kind of skirt. It seriously is my most favorite!
-Also, the scarf, a favorite! Maybe it is just because it is like my first ever scarf I ever owned by myself, but it is perfect with everything! Love it!

My fashion really does range from a casual chick, to a dressy gal; but none the less, all of my outfits tell the human population about who I am. What do you think fellow fashion lovers?

Hey there y'all! So today is yet another mighty nice day outside, fabulous! :D That means dresses and cute clothing! Today I woke up and was thinking, wow, I want to wear a dress, but this cardigan I got from Goodwill was calling my name, so I paired it all together for todays outfit!

(Sorry for the poor picture quality.)

So yes, as you can see, my outfit is mighty colorful, but I absolutely love it! Dresses are such a fabulous Spring time clothing, wouldn't you agree? I believe in showing yourself off, and who you are through your clothing. I am a bright, cheerful, fun person, so I think my outfit shows that off well! Anywho, instead of my babbling,
here is a list of where I got everything;

Spring Time in the City.

Inspirella here! Spring has reached Atlanta! Hallelujah! I love Spring, it is my absolute favorite season! Whats not to love? The pools begin to slowly open, the bright colorful flowers begin to bloom, cute not so heavy clothes get to be worn, and Spring Break creeps up on ya; just everything about Spring is so fantastic!

See, flowers are starting to grow on the trees! I am so excited, I can not wait to see all the other trees bloom and all the other flowers just sprout up! It is very exciting to me! Btw, this is what I was wearing today in honor of this FANTASTIC weather!

So cute right!? Thin clothing, hats, the city, what more could  a gal ask for?? My outfit was inspired by the pink of the flowers blooming on the trees actually! (Nature is my favorite inspiration.)

Beauty.

Inspirella here! :) Todays post will not be about my outfit, instead it will be all about you. About how amazing and beautiful YOU are. Take a look below to see what I mean.

This picture describes it all. Describes how you should really feel about yourself.

1.) Fall in love with yourself.
(You have got to love yourself before you can love anybody else. Loving yourself is so easy to do, because who you are is truly beautiful. Nothing fake, nothing made up, and nothing ugly.)
2.) Eliminate Self Criticism.
(Seriously, negative thoughts should not even be in your brain. So you have a pimple, so you have a little "pudge," so you are short; who cares? EveryBODY is different and absolutely beautiful.
3.) Be Kind And Positive.
(It is so attractive when a person is always happy and nice to others. It is very inspiring and makes your day that much better!!)
4.) Acknowledge Your Effort.
( You probably will not get something 100% right the first time you do it, you are not perfect. Nobody is. You did your absolute best, you gave your max effort. You did GREAT.
5.) Let Go Of Worry.
( Worry is a lot like stress. No need for it. What ever you are worried about, chill. Read a book, watch a movie, do yoga, something to get your mind off of that worrisome thing.
6.) Trust Yourself.
( How are you going to trust anybody else if you do not trust yourself? Trust your heart, listen to your mind, and do what is best for you. You have the best judgment about who you are, so trust who you are and stay true to that!)
7.) Forgive Yourself.
(Once again, you are not perfect. You are simply you. You make mistakes in life, wether they be relationships, flunking a test, or running a red light. You made a mistake. Forgive yourself, it was accidental and you learned from it.)
8.) Be Truthful To Yourself.
(Stop denying that you are beautiful. Stop denying that you c an not achieve your goals and dreams, if you have passion, anything is possible!)
9.) Grow Spiritually.
(For me, this is the most important. I have been trying so hard to grow more and more each day. I know it is not easy with the crazy lives we live, but give all of your worries, all of your stress, all of your troubles to the Lord, and he will help. Strengthen your relationship with Him. Love Him.)
10.) Make Positive Affirmations.
(STAY POSITIVE. THAT IS THE KEY.)
11.) Express Gratitude.
(Be thankful. For everything. Never stop saying thank you. It is polite and you really are thankful for somebody when they do something for you. Or when the weather is fantastic, you are thankful to that. Say a quick thank you. Nothing wrong with that!)
12.) Nurture Your Dreams.
(POSITIVITY. Dreams need positive attitudes. If you stop believing in your dream, remember it is possible to happen. Your dream is not out or reach, keep trying and you've got this!!)
13.) Boost Your Self Confidence.
( Surround yourself with positive people. They help with your self confidence. They find your best quality, they know you. Your self confidence doesn't just include outside things like your body. It includes your brain, your vision, your muscles, everything. My friends always tell me that my best quality is being bubbly and happy, that is what drives me and helps my self confidence.)
14.) Relax.
(Everything will fall into place. Stop stressing. Give yourself an hour each day to just chill. To just let nothing bother you. To just reflect on positive things.)
15.) Have Fun.
( SO TRUE. Do not forget to laugh and hangout with friends and loved ones. Having fun is probably the best thing for you. It makes you relax, stress less, and gives you good vibes. Having fun can be going to the movies, shopping, eating popcorn, or just reading. Just have  fun! :])
16.) Learn To See Beauty.
( Beauty comes in all different forms. Not just outside beauty either. Look inside! Beauty is such a magical thing, such a stunning thing!)

Stay true to yourself fellow beauties, and remember to always see the beauty in everything! <3

Midterm Week Fashion!

Inspirella here! So sorry I have not posted in a while, I have been so busy! (It is midterm week here at college, blah.) But, due to inclement weather, good old Atlanta, Georgia is all ice, so I have no school for the next week! Yippie! ( I hope you are catching my sarcasm.)  Although I moved south to get away from Winter, I must say, it is quite beautiful, in fact, here in a little bit I am going to be going out with my camera and taking some pictures, I'll upload some on here.
So like I said, it is mid term week here and that is the time most people pull all nighters, look super tired the next day and usually forget to look nice. Not this girl, my outfits during this week have been comfortable and cute. Yes that is possible. As you can see below;

See, you can be comfortable and cute at the same time. Jeans and a tee shirt? That is the most basic thing somebody could wear! A skirt and plain white tee? So easy.
During Midterms it is indeed stressful, but fashion should not pay for that. I believe everyday is a day to show off who you are to the world, so why wear sweats and a hoodie when it is just as simple to wear jeans a tee with some pizzaz? Fellow fashion lovers, what do you love wearing most in cold winter weather??

Rainy Day Outfit

Inspirella here! Hope everyone is having a fantastic hump day so far! I know I am, although today is a tad bit chilly, its a great day. Today's outfit is inspired by feeling spunky this morning. It was inspired by the glass like rain falling from the sky. It was inspired by my happy mood. (As an outfit should be.)
Wear what you want because you only live once, it does not need to be ruled by what other people say or think about you. Dress how you want! Show who you are. Who you are, inside and out is truly beautiful. Remember that. BE YOU.

With that being said, here is my outfit!

Accessories Gone Right.

Inspirella here! Before I officially make my first post, let me just tell you what my goals are with this blog. I want to inspire all you lovely people to dress how you want to dress. To show the world the real you. Because there is no need to hide the true you, the true you is BEAUTIFUL. Dressing how you want to is a way of expressing yourself, an art form really. So I say let your true colors shine!

So my first outfit is really quite simple, a plain white tee and jeans. I just added my own twist to the classic look.
I really enjoy accessorizing an outfit, I honestly think that is what makes an outfit! Like this warm colored scarf, it adds a great sense color to the outfit and draws in your attention. My belt is not only to hold up my jeans, it is also for the simple fact that it really pulls the outfit together, without it, the outfit just does not seem right. My pink nail polish is in the color family of warm colors so it is just the cherry on top if you will! (not to mention, it is great for Valentines Day coming up!)
